This video features the Bradbury Door Strut Rollforming line. Door Struts are used to strengthen door sections on wider garage doors to handle wind loads. Bradbury builds roll formers that commonly form struts from 22-gauge to 18-gauge galvanized steel in 2" and 3" leg height profiles and ½" to 2" web dimensions. Hole or slot punching along the strut length provides for fastening to either standard spaced stiles or wind load spaced stiles in garage door sections. Production rates average 100 to 150 FPM, depending on hole spacing.
This equipment was videoed at The Bradbury Group headquarters in Kansas during customer buyoff prior to shipment. Due to certain restrictions, such as lack of loop pit and anchoring, equipment may not be operating at engineered capacity.
